Dr. Anwar Fathelrahman Ahmed Dafaalla, President of the Sudanese ICT Professionals Association in Qatar (SIPAQ) for the 2022-2024 term. Academic Qualifications: • Master’s and Ph.D. in Computer Science (specializing in Data Mining, Information Security, and Privacy), from Chungbuk National University, South Korea. • Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. Professional Career: • Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Senior Trainer at the Ministry of Interior, and active researcher in Data Mining, Information Security, and Privacy. • Published over 20 peer-reviewed papers and a book on Information Security and Privacy. • Worked in higher education institutions in Sudan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with collaborations with American universities such as Cornell University in Qatar and the University of Maryland, College Park. Volunteer Work: • Translated and published over 1650 TED lectures from English to Arabic on a voluntary basis. • Organized more than 20 TEDx conferences and spoken at TED and 9 TEDx conferences. • Founder and president of the Sudanese Researchers Foundation. • General Supervisor of AJET, a peer-reviewed journal specializing in engineering and technology. • Member of the Board of Trustees at Abdul Rahman Bin Auf Secondary School for Boys. • Member of the Planning Committee for the “Bridging the GAP- Medical Interpreters” course at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. • Member of the Primary Health Care (PHCC) committee of Creativity and Innovation.
