Description

Mohammed Ayoub is a Scientist at the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI) where he leads the Air Quality and Climate Change research portfolio. He holds a M.Sc. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has over 20 years' experience in air quality research and management spanning academia, regulatory agencies, international consulting, and the United Nations. Mohammed's research focuses on understanding the chemistry and dynamics of the local and regional atmosphere, to develop and evaluate national policies to mitigate the impacts of poor air quality and adapt to climate change in Qatar.
